Distinguishing Characteristics
This is a spreading, evergreen shrub to small tree.
Leaves are erect, pinnately compound with 3 to 6 pairs of oval leaflets, with a stout gland between the lowest pair only.
Flowers are large, showy and bright yellow.
Fruit is a cylindrical, bean or pod-like, green when immature and straw-coloured when mature.
