International Environmental Weed Foundation (IEWF) was registered
in July 2003 and is based in Sydney Australia.
Our mission is to work with people to help them learn more about invasive plants and
remnant native plants. Additionally we support and facilitate the conservation and restoration
of degraded ecosystems and we provide funding for environmental research projects.
Our Web Weed Lookup and Know Your Garden's Natives projects are about helping people discover
what may be found in their backyard and surrounds.
The content of these sites is being built through community involvement. If you want to be
involved in creating the information available on these sites
please send your contributions in the form of Word documents with supporting digital photos to us via
email to info@iewf.org.

We have also become an active partner in the
RNC Alliance.
This is a world-wide alliance working towards restoring natural capital.
